This policy explains how ArticleOne collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you browse our store, place an order, or contact us.
Information we collect
Information you provide
We collect information you submit, such as your name, email address, telephone number, billing and shipping addresses, order details, messages, return requests, and communication preferences. Payment card details are collected and processed by Stripe; ArticleOne does not store full card numbers.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting and security systems may receive IP address, browser and device information, referring pages, timestamps, requested URLs, and diagnostic logs. We use local storage and essential cookies for the cart, security, and saved privacy choices. See our Cookie Policy.
How we use information
- Provide the storefront, cart, checkout, order fulfillment, returns, and customer support.
- Verify inventory, process payments, prevent fraud, and secure the service.
- Send transactional messages about orders and service changes.
- Maintain business records, comply with law, and enforce our terms.
- Improve reliability, accessibility, product presentation, and customer experience.
- Send marketing only where permitted and when you have not opted out.
How we disclose information
We disclose only what is reasonably necessary to providers supporting the store, including Supabase for application data and storage, Stripe for checkout and payment processing, Vercel for hosting and delivery, Resend for email delivery, and shipping carriers for fulfillment. Providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect customers or the service, in connection with a business reorganization, or with your direction. ArticleOne does not sell personal information for money and does not currently share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes above, maintain tax and transaction records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Retention varies by record type. We use administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may request access, correction, deletion, or a portable copy of personal information, or object to certain uses. You may also withdraw marketing consent and manage optional cookies. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
To submit a request, email support@articleone.co with “Privacy request” in the subject line and describe the request. We may verify your identity before acting. An authorized agent may submit a request where applicable, subject to proof of authority.
Children
The store is intended for a general audience and not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted information.
International visitors
ArticleOne operates from the United States. If you access the store elsewhere, information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate, subject to applicable safeguards.
