Inspected through a clear bag; slight perimeter wear is visible. There is a small color-breaking spine tick and some minor spine stress near the top staple. The bottom-right corner is very slightly blunted and the bottom-left shows a minor crease or ding. Overall, the cover is bright, lies flat, and has strong eye appeal, but these defects place the book solidly in the Very Fine+ (8.5) range. Reflections and minor waviness are likely effects of the sleeve. No defects visible in the central image area.
